HUNTINGDON (December 21) -- A capacity audience enjoyed the talents of area residents during A Night of Broadway at the Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center.

The vocalists performed two sets of music: the first set included operatic selections, and the second was devoted to Christmas music.

Elaine Conger of Paris was the coordinator, accompanist, and emcee of the event.

Performers included: McKenzie native, Andy Brown, a 1994 graduate of McKenzie High School now residing in Florida, where he performs. Esther Gray, a McKenzie graduate, who is an adjunct faculty member of the University School of Jackson; Jessica Morgan Tucker, a Huntingdon graduate and senior at U.T., where she is studying music; Sidney Burngasser, a 17-year-old Jackson resident; Stanley Warren, a professor of voice at Union University; and Casey Jordan, a 16-year-old junior at Chester County High School and a vocal student of Esther Gray. Joining Jessica on stage on one act was Campbell Cary, daughter of Mike and Susan Cary.

Esther Gray performs music from Phantom of the Opera.

Elaine Conger and Stanley Warren perform a piano duet during the intermission.
