MCKENZIE - Tina Marie Winkler, age 54, was found dead near her home Friday in the rural Pea Ridge area of McKenzie in Carroll County. Details of the incidents have not been released by law enforcement authorities, who investigated the scene. More details will be in The McKenzie Banner and on the Henrycountian.com Web site later.

Services for Mrs. Tina Marie Winkler, 54, are Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at McKenzie Funeral Home's Cedar Avenue Chapel. Cremation will follow the memorial services. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 27 2007, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.. Mrs. Winkler was a domestic engineer. She was born on December 31, 1952 in South Carolina and was a member of National Storytelling Association.

Survivors include: Dr. Volker Winkler of McKenzie, six children and their families: two daughters (Kirsten and Jeff Sass of McKenzie, Robyn Winkler of Australia); four sons and their families (Jesse Winkler and Rachel Pruiett, Ben Winkler and Brandy Gatewood, and Ty Winkler--all of McKenzie--and Roman Winkler of Australia).
