Rebel Football to Broadcast on Channel 22

Charter Communications has arranged for the McKenzie Rebels-South Pittsburgh championship game to be aired on channel 22 on Charter cable television.

The TSSAA Class 1A game begins at 3:30 p.m. Friday, December 7 at Middle Tennessee State University’s stadium.

The Rebels will depart MHS for Murfreesboro at 9:30 a.m. Friday. Everyone is welcomed to come out and see the team depart. Bring signs, banners, and encouragement.

The game will be broadcast by WMUF (104.7 FM) and video-streamed on the Internet by going to TSSAA.org and following the link to THSSN (99.5).

Everyone who plans to attend must purchase a ticket. This includes sponsors, chaperones and helpers for the band, school personnel, etc. Only those with a sideline pass will be able to be on the field and this is strictly limited to people associated with the team and approved media.

Fans may enter Floyd Stadium through Gates 1, 3, 4 only. Gate 2 is reserved for the team members. Tickets are required to enter this stadium through these gates.

People driving vehicles that will not fit into a normal parking space will need to drive down Greenland Drive turn onto Champion Way and then on to Blue Raiders Drive and enter parking area ABA.

Fans may not bring back packs, large bags, food, ice chests/coolers, liquids, umbrellas, animals, laser lights, or artificial noise makers into the stadium.

Those who plan to tailgate may do so at any parking lot. The preferred lot is Greenland Drive. Tailgaters will pay $5.00 per space used.

As the visiting team, Rebel fans will sit in the area across from the press box. The preferred gate entrance for visitors to be seated quickly will be Gates 3 or 4.

The game will be broadcast by WMUF (104.7 FM) and video-streamed on the Internet by going to TSSAA.org and following the link to THSSN (99.5).
