Huntingdon Council Honors Newman for Service

Huntingdon Mayor Dale Kelley presents Jeanie Newman with a plaque of appreciation for her service to the Huntingdon Town Council. She has moved to Dresden and resigned her seat on the council.

Nina Smothers, a pharmacist with Baptist Memorial Hospital-Huntingdon was unanimously appointed to fill Newman's unexpired term. Smothers will serve in the appointment until the November election.
