Greater Enon Baptist Church will be celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 21. Celebration will be through "service' by uniting people around a common goal - raising health awareness. McKenzie Regional Hospital will assist by sponsoring a Health Fair and providing various information including: stroke prevention, early detection of cancer, health insurance, and oxygen saturation; they will also be available to do blood sugar and blood pressure checks.

For those individuals who are not currently registered voters, there will also be voter registration cards available for you to sign up in preparation for the 2008 election. This event will be held at Greater Enon, located at 313 E. Walnut Avenue in McKenzie. The ceremony will begin with a brief program at 10 a.m. followed by a march (weather permitting) leading up to the other activities. Please feel free to come out and join in this day of celebration.
