Dinner and Auction to Benefit Carl Perkins Center

CARROLL COUNTY – A Saturday dinner and auction at the Carroll County Civic Center benefits Carroll County’s Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.

Every seven seconds a child is abused in the United States. The Carl Perkins Center is working to break the cycle of abuse in West Tennessee.

Bethel Football Coach Dino Kaklis is the featured speaker for the fourth annual event. The evening begins with a silent auction at 5:30. Other activities include a live auction, dinner by Mark Milam and Mallard’s Restaurant, and Kaklis.

Come and enjoy the evening with a meal and have a chance to bid on several collectible items such as: NFL Pro Bowl football signed by the game players including Patrick Willis, Terrell Owens, Tony Romo, Chad Clifton, Devin Hester, Larry Fitzgerald and Jason Witten; San Francisco 49er’s T-shirt signed by Patrick Willis; San Francisco 49er’s visor signed by Patrick Willis; UT basketball signed by Pat Summit; UT basketball signed by the Vols team the night of the Memphis game; weekday suite for 20 at West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx Game; Ducks Unlimited print; and a Mike McLemore duck call.

Individual tickets are $30.00. Please contact the Center at (731) 986-5920 to receive more information about purchasing tickets or donating items to the silent auction. This event is sponsored by United Steel Workers Local 9815, Carroll Bank and Trust, West Carroll Pharmacy, Norandal USA, Inc. and West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx.
