Beeler Triplets Have Arrived! Carli, Cate and Miles

By Linda Bolton

Excitement was in the air in McKenzie Saturday, February 23, when word was received that the Beeler triplets had arrived – a first for McKenzie as far as anyone can remember.

Ashley and Tim Beeler welcomed their tiny new arrivals, two daughters and a son, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Also welcoming his three little siblings is proud big brother, Drew, age 5-1/2.

The young ladies, Carli Page and Cate Elizabeth weighed 1 pound 15 ounces and 1 pound 10 ounces, respectively. Their brother, Miles Harrison, weighed 1 pound 10 ounces.

The triplets, whose actual due date was May 25, made their debut three months early.

Maternal grandparents are Debbie and Gary Simmons of McKenzie. Paternal grandparents are Jackie Beeler of Smyrna and Gloria Albright of Tiptonville.

Because of complications requiring Cate to have intestinal surgery, all three infants were moved to Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville on Wednesday, February 27. Miles possibly will require the same surgery, said Ashley.

“She is doing really good,” said Ashley, who spoke to the Banner from Vanderbilt Friday. “They are all tiny, but they all are doing really good.”

All three babies occupy the same room at Vanderbilt and Ashley and Tim were moving into Ronald McDonald House Friday to remain near the newborns. Nashville’s Ronald McDonald House has special home-away-from-home accommodations for families of critically ill patients, receiving care at Nashville area hospitals.

Ashley and Tim are the owners of Beeler Insurance Company, with offices in McKenzie and Paris.

“We are thankful that we live in McKenzie, where we have had lots of prayers and well wishes,” said Ashley. “Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers.”
