NAOMI ELIZABETH DANIEL BERRY
1921-2008
DYERSBURG: Naomi Elizabeth Daniel Berry, 86,
died Friday, June 13, at Dyersburg Regional
Medical Center. Funeral services were
Tuesday, June 17, at Johnson-Williams
Funeral Home in Newbern with Charles Watkins
officiating. Burial followed in Fairview
Cemetery in Dyersburg.
Ms. Berry was born July 28, 1921 to the late
James Walter and Aultie Emma Lee Reynolds.
She was a homemaker and a retired employee
of Oak Manor Nursing Home in McKenzie. She
was a Methodist and a member of the
Dyersburg Home Demonstration Club. Besides
her parents, she was preceded in death by
three sisters, Ruth Gasser, Mildred Naples,
and Louise Gill; and two brothers, Floyd
Reynolds and Paul Reynolds.
Survivors include: two daughters, Emily
Nannette Daniel of Newbern and Norma Louise
Wilkes of Huntingdon; five sons, Paul S.
Daniel of Sandy, Utah, James Alan Daniel of
Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Jerald Timothy
Daniel of Newbern, Phillip Ray Daniel of
Munford, and Walter Kendall Daniel of
McKenzie; 11 grandchildren and 16 great
grandchildren.
MILES PEARSON
1924-2008
ATWOOD: Miles Pearson, 84, died Saturday,
June 14, at his home. Funeral services are
Thursday, June 19, at 1 p.m. at Chase
Funeral Home with Rev. James Carnes
officiating. Burial will follow in Mt.
Ararat Cemetery.
Mr. Pearson was born June 8, 1924 in Carroll
County to the late Willie Lee Pearson and
Georgia (Crider) Pearson. He was a delivery
person for Milan Farm Supply Mill. Besides
his parents, he was preceded in death by his
wife, Clara Ellen Pearson; five brothers,
Robert Pearson, Tom Pearson, Wade Pearson,
Andrew Pearson, and Holbert Pearson; and one
sister, Eldora Williams.
Survivors include: two daughters, Helen
Pearson of Atwood, and Linda Pearson of
Memphis; two sons, Larry Pearson and Richard
(Annie) Pearson, both of Atwood; one sister,
Leodia Phelps; one brother, Mather Pearson;
seven grandchildren, and seven
great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the
Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Wednesday
from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Thursday
from 8 a.m. until time of services.
STEVEN K. PARKER
1964-2008
PARIS: Steven K. Parker, 44, died Sunday,
June 15, at Henry County Medical Center.
Funeral services are Wednesday, June 18, at
2 p.m. at Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie.
Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in
McKenzie.
Mr. Parker was born February 10, 1964 in
Paris. He was an Operation Supervisor at the
TVA Steam Plant in New Johnsonville and was
a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church
in New Johnsonville. He was preceded in
death by his mother, Marilyn Lewis Parker of
McKenzie, and one sister, Melanie Parker
Parham.
Survivors include: his father, Keith T.
Parker of McKenzie; three sons, Ben Parker
of Trezevant and Chase Parker and Clay
Parker, both of New Johnsonville; one
daughter, Brooke (Shane) De Priest of
Columbus, Mississippi; and one grandson,
Bladen De Priest.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 9
p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time
of service. |
