MCKENZIE - Close to 230 youth are signed up
to attend the 2008 Bethel College Youth
Festival (BCYF) according to Tina Hodges,
director of enrollment. The event is March
28-30 on campus at Bethel.
BCYF is geared toward students in both
junior high and senior high and includes
uplifting worship and youth activities.
The Rev. Kevin Medlin, pastor of the
Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church in
Lebanon, Tenn., will be the guest speaker,
and Bethel's Renaissance choral group will
lead the group in worship and praise songs.
This year's BCYF theme is "Where does my
help come from?" and is based on the Bible
verse, Psalm 121:1.
The cost for BCYF is $45 per person for
two nights, or $35 per person for one night.
Both options include overnight
accommodations, meals and a BCYF T-shirt.
Students who plan to attend should bring
supplies for an overnight stay, including an
air mattress or a sleeping bag.
