Jerry Kellen
“Kebo” Wallace
|
Calloway County, Kentucky (April 26) Two
men drowned Saturday night and a third was
rescued after their boat filled up with
water and capsized in the Patterson Point
area of Kentucky Lake.
The bodies of Jerry Kellen “Kebo” Wallace,
66, McKenzie, and Albert Springer, of the
Patterson Point area, were recovered
Saturday night after several hours of
searching in the water by multiple agencies.
A third man in the boat, Lucas Simms, 29,
McKenzie, was rescued. Simms is the
son-in-law of Wallace. The three were in a
jon boat when it capsized.
According to WPSD-TV, Wallace's body was
found moments after the accident and CPR was
started. Sims was pulled to safety by a
nearby fisherman. The trio had been setting
trot lines, according to WPSD.
The accident happened at the south end of
Kentucky Lake, in
Calloway County. |
