Services for Richard “Ricky” Lynn Heath, 51, were Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Alan Trull officiating. Interment was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery near the Stafford Store community.
Mr. Heath, a construction worker, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson. He was born on July 9, 1963 in Memphis, TN to Melvin J. and Betty Jane Hill Heath. He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his best friend and partner, Lisa Moss of McKenzie, a daughter, Ashley Michelle Heath of McKenzie, his mother, Betty Heath of Memphis, two sisters, Patsy Heath and Marilyn Heath Coulter, both of Memphis, two brothers Mark (Monica) Heath of McKenzie, Glenn (Jill) Heath of Memphis, three grandchildren Aden Heath, Jaylee Sterling, and Adelynn Heath.

McKenzie-Memorial services for Virginia R. Noel, 96, of McKenzie will be held Thursday, July 24, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. at Lakeside Retirement Center in their activity room with Reverend Dennis Trull officiating. Burial was at Morris Cemetery in Greenfield. A former employee of Brown Shoe Company and Ben Franklin, Mrs. Noel died Thursday, July 18, 2014 at Lakeside Retirement Center. She was born on November 21, 1917 in Greenfield, Tennessee to Cozzie and Angie Sanders Rial. She was a member of First Baptist Church, McKenzie, Tennesee. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Floyd Noel. Brummitt Funeral Home of McKenzie was in charge of arrangements.
Eula Fay Beasley
Gleason-Funeral services for Mrs. Eula Fay Beasley, 83, of Gleason were Tuesday, July 22 at Gleason First Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Summer officiating. Burial was at New Hope Cemetery in Gleason with Williams Funeral Home of Gleason in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Beasley died on July 20, 2014 at McKenzie Healthcare. A former factory worker, Mrs. Beasley was born on March 6, 1931 in Gleason. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gleason. She is survived by two sisters, Martha Hopper and Rubye Phelps, both of Gleason. She was preceded in death by her father, Chesley E. Higgins, mother, Bobbie Kellan, husband, William Atkins and husband, Robert Beasley.
Ruby Mae Kirby
Mrs. Ruby Mae Kirby, 88, of Paducah, Kentucky died on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Memorial graveside funeral services were conducted Friday, July 18, 2014 at the New Liberty Cemetery. Mrs. Kirby was born April 21, 1926, in Madison County, Tennesee, to the late Bernard and Sarah (pyles) Babb. She was a retired audit clerk for Sears Roebuck and a member of First Baptist Church in Paducah. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Michael Kirby, an infant daughter, Freida Dianne Kirby, two sisters, Annie Pearl Elder and Ruth Haskins, two brothers. L.B. Babb and Earl Babb. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Fred Kirby, a son, Donald Ray (Debbie) Kirby of Paducah, Kentucky, three grandchildren, Leigh Anne (Clint) Roberts, Adam Kirby and Brent Kirby. Dilday-Carter Funeral Home of Huntingdon was in charge of arrangements.
Wyatt Creed Duren
Wyatt Creed Duren, infant, of Dresden, Tennessee, died June 16 at McKenzie Regional Hospital. Graveside services were Wednesday, June 18 at Tumbling Creek Cemetery in Gleason with Minister John Beachy Jr. officiating. Wyatt was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Edward Duren. He is survived by his father, Tim Duren, his mother, Johanna (Beachy) Duren, both of Dresden, Grandparents Randy and Chrystal Duren of Dresde, Grandparent John Beachy Jr. of Finger, Grandparent Jocelyn Moore of Paris, Great Grandparent Leon Russell of Gleason, Great Grandparents John Sr. and Sadie Beachy of Finger and Great Grandparents Mike and Dorothy Adams of Finger. Williams Funeral Home of Gleason was in charge of arrangements.
Roy Glenn Beckham
Mr. Roy Glenn Beckham 67, of Clarksburg, Tennessee died Friday, July 18, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services were Monday, July 21, 2014 in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home. Bro. Steve Davis will officiate the service.
Mr. Beckham was born September 20, 1946 in Savannah, Tennessee to the late Dodge Beckham and Ruby (Ayers) Swift. He was retired from Gaines Manufacturing, where he was a cutting specialist. He is also preceded in death by a brother, James Hugh Beckham.
He is survived by his wife Motty Beckham of Huntingdon; four sisters, Mary Evelyn Hames of Clarksburg, Betty Runions of Bruceton, Jane Allen of Hollow Rock, and Kathy Beckham Sanders of Buena Vista; four brothers, Tom and Frank Beckham, both of McKenzie, Ed Beckham of Clarksburg, and Mark Beckham of Washington.
JOHN RICHARD CHAPMAN
Graveside funeral services for John Richard Chapman, 65, were Monday, July 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with Curtis McCuiston speaking.
Mr. Chapman, who was disabled from working in the Kentucky coal mines, died Friday, July 18, 2014 at his residence. He was born on May 27, 1949 in Barrenshee, KY to Payton and Eunice Mounts Chapman. He was a member of Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Peggy Chapman; a sister, Baby Lilly Mae Chapman, three brothers, Sylvan Chapman, George Chapman, and Garlise Chapman.
Survivors include a son Marcus Duane (Donna) Chapman of McKenzie, two daughters Merlla (Greg) Fields of Kentucky and Jennell (James) Bryant of Ft. Hood, TX, five sisters Martha Gosch of Ohio, Ezise Collins of Chicago, Dixie Steel, Emma Lewis, Ethel Mitchell all of Kentucky, three brothers Rayman Chapman of Ohio, Carl Chapman and Earl Chapman both of Kentucky, and five grandchildren .

Joe Dudley Smith
Funeral services for Joe Dudley Smith, 77, will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Gleason First Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Sumner officiating. Burial will be at Hopewll Cmetery in Gleason.
Mr. Smith, a wrecker driver, died July 20 at Regional Hospital of Jackson. A member of Gleason First Baptist Church, he was born December 31, 1936 in Gleason to deceased parents Clyde Stewart and Somora Webb. He is survived by wife, Peggy Esch Stewart of Gleason, two sons, Rickey Stewart of Doylestown, Pennsylvania and Ronnie Stewart of Gleason, one daughter, Rachel Stewart of Gleason, one brother Tommy Stewart of Port Charlotte, Florida, three sisters, Barbara Wright, Sue Fuller and Linda Lenox, all from Niles, Michigan, and two grandchildren Lindsey Strawser and Chloe Stewart.

YAHIA SAM SALAMEH
Sam Salameh died late last week in his native country of Jordan. Salameh was a 1981 graduate of Bethel University and an employee of the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He leaves his children, Rema Yaskulski and Mignon Denton, his wife, and another child. Memorial services are planned for later.
