NASHVILLE (February 6, 2023) — For the first time in five weeks the Tennessee gas price average moved towards less expensive. Over last week gas prices declined nine cents, on average. The Tennessee Gas Price average is now $3.19 which is 20 cents more expensive than one month ago and nearly six cents more than one year ago.

HUNTINGDON (February 3) — Huntingdon American Legion Post 47 is hosting a Four Chaplains Day celebration in memory of the four men that gave their lives on the troop ship USAT Dorchester in 1943. HENDERSON (January 27) — Freed-Hardeman University has released the names of students who made the President’s and Dean’s Lists for the Fall 2022 semester. To be on the President’s List, a student must be full-time and have a 4.0 grade point average. Students on the Dean’s List have earned a minimum 3.4 grade point average for the semester.
