Trezevant Hosts Christmas Parade
TREZEVANT (December 11) — The City of Trezevant hosted its annual Christmas parade on Monday, December 11 along U.S. 79 highway as many spectators lined the parade route. This year, the parade started at West Carroll Elementary School and proceeded to Church Street. In years past, the parade started at Church and proceeded to WCES.
Mild December temperatures greeted parade participants for the 7:00 p.m. event, that included floats, emergency vehicles, decorated ATVs and cars, and Santa.
First place winner was Pat’s Restaurant with the theme, “I Am Dreaming of a White Christmas.” Second place went to the McLemoresville Cotton Festival queens. Third place went to the West Carroll Marching Eagles Band. Fourth place went to Clay, Corbin, and Mallory Fowler.
Following the parade, a fireworks show illuminated the town.
