Carroll County General Sessions

The following defendants were bound over to the Grand Jury last week in Carroll County General Sessions Court: Keon J. Williams of 85 Field Street, McKenzie, who is charged with aggravated burglary and theft of property up to $10,000.

Joshua David Brown of 22825 Highway 114 North, Hollow Rock, who is charged with domestic assault.

Christopher Pace of 1870 Clarksburg Road, Clarksburg, who is charged with a schedule II drug violation and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas and received sentences, fines, and/or court orders: Tiffany Anderson of 300 McCall Street, Huntingdon, who pled guilty to driving on a cancelled license and failure to appear. She was placed on unsupervised probation for 11 months and 27 days and fined $100.

Terry L. Arnold of Camden, who pled guilty to probation violation. He was ordered to serve 30 days.

William Christopher Brown of 615 Maytown Road, Huntingdon, who pled guilty to public intoxication. He was fined $50.

Corey Emerson of 122 Carroll Street, Bruceton, who pled guilty to resisting arrest. He was fined $50.

Anthony Haynes Jr. of 98 Campbell Street, McKenzie, who pled guilty to driving on a cancelled license. He was ordered to serve 30 days and fined $50. Charges of speeding and violation of financial responsibility were dismissed.

James Derrick Haynes of 98 South Campbell Street, McKenzie, who pled guilty to DUI (first offense). He was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in jail (suspended), placed on supervised probation for 11 months and 27 days, ordered to serve 48 hours, fined $350, and ordered not to drive and loss of license for one year. Charges of violation of implied consent, public indecency, failure to display registration, and a traffic violation were dismissed.

Steven Gerald Kosik of Paducah, Kentucky, who pled guilty to driving on a cancelled license and violation of financial responsibility. He was placed on supervised probation for six months and fined $100. A seatbelt violation was dismissed.

Scott Long of 1925 Clay Farm Road, Trezevant, who pled guilty to attempted reckless endangerment involving a deadly weapon. He was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in jail (suspended) and placed on supervised probation for 11 months and 29 days.

Kristy S. Morris of Henry, who pled guilty to probation violation. She was ordered to serve 30 days.

Anna Bray Saulters of 4975 Broad Street, Trezevant, who pled guilty to violation of compulsory school attendance law. She was ordered to serve 20 days and placed on supervised probation for five months.

Amber N. Truett of Milan, who pled guilty to driving on a cancelled license and violation of financial responsibility. She was placed on supervised probation for six months and fined $100.

Shelby Paige Waalen of Dresden, who pled guilty to DUI (first offense). She was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days in jail (suspended), placed on supervised probation for 11 months and 27 days, sentenced to serve 48 hours, fined $350, and ordered not to drive and loss of license for one year. Charges for violation of financial responsibility and failure to exercise due care were dismissed.

Kelly R. Wallace of Holladay, who pled guilty to possession/ casual exchange of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wallace was ordered to serve 30 days, placed on supervised probation for 10 months and 29 days, and fined $875.

Roy Z. Carter of 151 Forrest Circle, McKenzie, who pled guilty to theft up to $1,000 and unlawful possession of a weapon. He was sentenced to 11 months and 29 days plus 30 days in jail (suspended) and fined $50. Two counts of aggravated assault were dismissed.

Stacy Michelle Cochran of 135 Humphrey Road, Huntingdon, who pled guilty to possession/ casual exchange of meth. She was ordered to serve two days, placed on supervised probation for five months and 28 days, fined $500, and ordered to undergo an alcohol and drug assessment.

John Clayton Cole of Jackson, who pled guilty to possession/ casual exchange of meth. He was placed on supervised probation for six months and fined $500.

Anthony Haynes Jr. of 98 Campbell Street, McKenzie, who pled guilty to driving on a cancelled license. He was ordered to serve 30 days and placed on supervised probation for 10 months and 29 days. Charges of speeding and driving an unregistered vehicle on the highway were dismissed.

Cory L. Leavitt of 20430 East Main Street, Huntingdon, who pled guilty to casual exchange of a schedule VII drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. He ordered to serve two days, placed on supervised probation for 11 months and 27 days, and fined $400. A schedule VI drug violation was dismissed.

Brian Keith Riggs of 1180 Westport Road, Huntingdon, who pled guilty to violation of community corrections. He was placed on unsupervised probation for 11 months and 29 days.

The following defendants were granted pre-trial or judicial diversions: Mitchell Thomas Lunn of 445 Old McKenzie Road, McKenzie, for underage driving while impaired.

Sammy D. Wortham of Milan for vandalism up to $1,000 and assault with bodily injury.

All charges were dismissed against the following defendants: Larry Ray Boyett Jr. of Camden, for driving on a revoked license and a motor vehicle light law violation.

Stephanie Hugueley of 181 Smith Avenue, McKenzie, for driving on a suspended license and speeding.

Karen Johnson of 20430 East Main Street, Huntingdon, for writing worthless checks.

Dominic Jones of 825 State Route 77, Atwood, for driving on a suspended license and speeding.

Gilbert Andrew Jourdan III of Camden for driving on a suspended license, displaying a suspended drivers license, a seatbelt violation, child restraint violations (two counts), and violation of financial responsibility.

Cody Allan Rimmer of Trenton for writing worthless checks up to $1,000.

Laporsha S. Spinks of 35 Beal Street, McKenzie, for failure to appear on citation.
