Carroll, Henry County New Year Babies Make Debut on January 2
PARIS — Henry County Medical Center announces the arrival of the new year baby in Henry County, born on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 8:06 a.m. Proud parents are Blake and Jessie Turner of Paris are excited for the birth of baby boy, Louis Miles, weighing in at 7 lbs. 7 oz. and was 19 ½ inches long.
Each year, HCMC recognizes the first baby born in the hospital with a gift basket that includes baby items and a Wal-Mart gift card.
The addition of Miles expands their family from three to four. The Turner’s also have a two-year old son named Landyn.
Jessie Turner is also a partner at HCMC, working at Innovative Orthopedics. Miles was delivered by Dennis Wieck, MD, OB/ GYN of Paris Women’s Center.
Chance Jewell of Atwood is the first baby of 2018 born in Carroll County. Mr. Jewell was born January 2, 8:32 a.m. at McKenzie Regional Hospital to Cheyenne and Cody Jewell of Atwood.
Chance weighed nine pounds, eight ounces and was 20 inches long.
He has an older brother, Cooper, age 2. His grandparents are Willie and Della Polinski of Atwood and Jon and Betty Jewell of Rutherford.
The attending physician was Terry Colotta and the attending nurse was Neisha Sala- Berry.
Cheyenne is a stay-athome mom and Cody works at Volunteer Fence in Jackson.
