McKENZIE (May 1) — The McKenzie Special School District Board of Education held its regular monthly meeting Tuesday in the McKenzie Elementary Library. Topping the agenda was recognition of four retiring employees.

Also recognized were Emma Renfro, who served as the student representative to the board during the 2017-18 school year, and Isabella Colotta, who will serve as the representative during 2018-19. Renfro was presented a token of appreciation from the board.

The board also heard a report from Carroll County Coordinated School Health Director Mandy Drewry and her assistant Jennifer Medford on the programs and activities carried out during the school year.
