New Signs Erected at Dairy Queen

McKENZIE — Delta Imaging of Dresden erected new signage at the McKenzie Dairy Queen last week. The company replaced signs that were first erected when the building was constructed in 1979 by owners Bill and Maudell Beasley. Bill and Maudell operated the Dairy Queen next door in the Dominos Pizza building for 15 years prior to constructing the present building, which provided a dine-in opportunity.

Connie Beasley, the current owner, said the new roadside and building signage represents the new logo of Dairy Queen. She noted only the signage has changed, not the menu. The store is not converting to a Grill and Chill.

Pictured are Bill Beasley, center, and Connie Beasley and son, Doug Beasley standing in front of the soon-to-be erected signage.
