They were accompanied by Chamber of Commerce President Brad Hurley. Associated Publishers is located in Huntingdon at 84 Elks Lodge Lane. Area newspapers printed at API are: Carroll County News-Leader, Dresden Enterprise, (Milan) Mirror Exchange, (Savannah) Courier, The McKenzie Banner, and Lexington Progress. Youth Leadership is sponsored by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. API operates a web press. Mr. Kee has been a pressman since the late 1950s, first starting at The McKenzie Banner and moving to API as the foreman when it opened in 1973. Tresa Smothers is a long-term associate of API and is the second-most senior member. Photos courtesy of Shirley Nanney.
