Jasmine McMackins Hatcher Hosts Grand Opening of Law Firm
McKENZIE — Jasmine Mc-Mackins Hatcher, along with the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, hosted a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony for her new law office in McKenzie last week.
Hatcher was reared in McKenzie, where she graduated in 2003 at McKenzie High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2007 from UT-Martin, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2010 from the University of Memphis.
She began her law practice with the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services in 2010, working with families in West Tennessee. She joined the private law practice in 2014 by joining the Law Office of Shon D. Johnson in Henry County.
She is married to West Hatcher, who is a Bethel University graduate and a born-again McKenzie resident. She is the daughter of Teresa McMackins, a McKenzie native and Bethel alumnae.
“I look forward to building my life here and raising a family. With that, the decision to bring my law practice home was an easy one,” sad Hatcher.
She represents clients in the areas of domestic relations, including divorce, post-divorce, child custody, child support, child abuse and neglect, termination of parental rights, and adoption. She also works in probate matters, including wills, estates, guardianships and conservatorships. She has represented clients in the areas of criminal law, education law, employment law, civil rights violations, breach of contract, and personal injury. Her office number is 731-2071298.
