Shepherd’s Table Kitchen is July 17
The Shepherd’s Table, the Community Kitchen created by the volunteers at the First Presbyterian Church-Huntingdon , is Tuesday, July 17, at 19835 E. Main Street. Dining begins at 5:15 p.m. and the kitchen is open until 6:45 p.m.
Anyone hungry or seeking fellowship for a meal is invited.
Mary Lodge, a volunteer in the kitchen, said they will homecooked chicken, corn on the cob, beans and delicious fruit cobbler for dessert.
Everyone who attends The Shepherd’s Table is treated as a guest and served restaurant style. Guests are served at the table and volunteers do all the work.
The mission of the Community Kitchen was to serve as many people in need of a hot meal as possible. The community kitchen’s success is dependent upon guests attending, volunteers and donations. If you know of someone that needs a hot meal or would just prefer to not eat alone please inform them about The Shepherd’s Table or better yet bring them by and join.
