Father, Son Memorialized In Joint Service

Funeral services for Sammy Dwayne Hudgins, age 64 of McKenzie, and his son, Kevin, will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at the Bodkin Funeral Home, Milan, Tenn. with burial to follow in the Trezevant Cemetery. Both died in a car accident in Kentucky.

Visitation with the family is Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Sammy was an electrician who worked for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was born December 27, 1953. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed working with his sons. Kevin worked as an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. He was proud to be able to work alongside his father, Sammy. Kevin was born April 15, 1975.

Sammy’s Obituary

Sammy leaves his wife, Vicki Hudgins of McKenzie, a son, Christopher Kyle Hudgins and wife, Robin; three grandchildren, a brother, Randy Hudgins and wife, Pat of Trezevant, sisters, Carolyn Perry and husband, Jack Hillsman, Pam Inman and husband, Keith, and Mary Woodward and husband, Mike. He also his leaves his son Kevin’s special friend, Tiffani Mitchell.

Kevin’s Obituary

Kevin leaves his mother, Vicki Wilson Hudgins of McKenzie, a daughter, Brooklin Hudgins, and a brother, Christopher Kyle Hudgins and wife, Robin of McKenzie.
