Mustangs Mercy Rule Patriots, 14-4

HUNTINGDON (April 14) — In non-district high school baseball action, the Huntingdon Mustangs, led by the pitching and hitting of Elijah Wilkerson (5.0 innings, two strikeouts, four hits, four runs / one-run homer, one-run double) and eventual game-winning, tworun homer by Ben Clifft in the fourth, mercy ruled the Henry County Patriots, 14-4.

Mustang Hunter Ensley had a great day in the batter’s box, going 4 for 4.

Huntingdon scored two runs in the first and three runs in the second to lead, 5-0, before Henry County plated two runs in the top of third.

Answering, Huntingdon scored four runs in the third, one run in the fouth and four runs in the fifth to mercy rule the Patriots, 14-4.

Huntingdon out-hit Henry County, 12-4.
