Ezell in National Hoop Shoot Finals
Caleb Ezell, 10, of Huntingdon has advanced to the national finals of the Elks Hoop Shoot Competition. The finals will be held at Loyola University in Chicago.
Caleb qualified for the finals by winning competitions at the local, West Tennessee, state and national regional levels. In the regional, Caleb represented Tennessee against shooters from Kentucky, Arkansas and Missouri.
The Hoop Shoot in Chicago will take place April 21. It is the second time in three years Caleb has made it to the national level.
The Hoop Shoot takes place annually with about three million participants.
Caleb is a fourth grade student at Huntingdon Middle School. He is the son of Clint and Monica Ezell.
