CANTON, Ohio (February 8) — Former Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central High School and San Francisco 49ers linebacker Patrick Willis was named one of seven players inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s 2024 class on Thursday night. NASHVILLE (January 29) — The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) is announcing its participation in the 2024 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The goal of the Summer Food Service Program is to ensure children 18 and younger, who benefit from meal programs at school, continue to have that same access to nutritious meals outside of school. more
TENNESSEE (FEBRUARY 12) — Average gasoline prices in Tennessee have risen 0.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.83/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 3,821 stations in Tennessee. Prices in Tennessee are 12.2 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 22.9 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 6.9 cents in the last week and stands at $3.99 per gallon. more
McKENZIE (February 8) — Lady Rebels start the game off early with a 2-0 lead. Houston County matched the Lady Rebels’ intensity, going shot for shot as McKenzie ends up trailing 10-8 halfway through the first quarter. Lady Rebel Savannah Davis came alive with three three-pointers, starting the Lady Rebels’ 10-0 run, putting McKenzie up 18-10 at the end of the first quarter. more
