Kerry Scott Killebrew, 72, of Dresden died March 20, 2024 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral services were Saturday, March 23, 2024 in the Dresden Cumberland Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m., burial followed in Sunset Cemetery. more

The Rebels got one in the fourth inning. McKenzie ended the game in the fifth inning with five more runs. Tate Surber hit a double that sent Jake Cassidy and Hayden Garrett ending the game 10-0. more

My father grew up the son of a sharecropper working a farm with mules during the Great Depression. That experience greatly influenced how he raised me and my siblings. One thing we were taught was to always “turn out that light!” when leaving a room. It didn’t matter if we were just going to the bathroom and would be right back, we were still supposed to turn out the light. more
