Northwest Tenn. Tourism Association to Host Annual Legislative Breakfast

UNION CITY — The Northwest Tennessee Tourism Association (NWTTA) to host the Second Annual NWTN Legislative Breakfast, sponsored by Total Tech Solutions. This key event is Friday, May 24 at Discovery Park of America in Union City. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the event begins at 9 a.m.

The NWTN Legislative Breakfast is designed to connect and engage key stakeholders in the tourism industry.

Connecting, Learning, Shaping the Future of Tourism
The event fosters collaboration between local and state government officials, business leaders, and tourism partners. Attendees will be able to engage in discussions on the future of tourism in Northwest Tennessee and how it contributes to a healthy economy.

Insights from Industry Experts, State Legislators
Keynote speaker Sara Beth Urban, CEO of the Tennessee Hospitality & Tourism Association, will provide valuable insights into the industry and updates on the latest changes. Additionally, Senators Ed Jackson and John Stevens, and Representatives Tandy Darby, Rusty Grills, Chris Hurt, and Brock Martin will be present to participate in a panel discussion about key tourism matters at the state level.

A Record-Breaking Year for Tennessee Tourism
“Tourism in Tennessee is booming!” says Kasey Muench, Executive Director of NWTN Tourism. “In 2022 alone, tourism put over $288 million back into Northwest Tennessee. As the state’s second-largest industry, tourism is generating jobs and economic development that benefit Tennesseans across the board. The NWTN Legislative Breakfast is all about how we can work together to keep this momentum going and make Northwest Tennessee an even bigger tourist destination.”
