Barbara Elizabeth Jones

McKenzie, Tenn. - A funeral service for Barbara Elizabeth Jones is Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 3, 2018, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m.  and Thursday 10:00 a.m. until service time. Internment is at Travis Chapel Cemetery, Dresden, Tenn., and Brother Gene Price will officiate.

Ms. Jones, 75, died October 2, 2018 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. She was born on June 12, 1943 to Larry Nay and Margaret Allen Nay Moore. She was a retired LPN for Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, June Gentry and Mary Loar.

She is survived by a daughter, Paula (Richard) Johnson of Gleason, Tenn., two sons, Jerry(Teresa) Jones of Henry, Tenn., and Dennis Jones, Topeka, Kansas, five grandchildren,  Justin (Una) Johnson, Crystal (Eric) Walker, Caleb (Hannah) Johnson, Craig (Ashley) Jones and Zachary (Megan) Jones and six great-grandchildren,  Clint Riley Johnson, Adeline Johnson, Morgan Walker, Jenna Walker, Braxton Jones and Hunter Jones.
