Mc Kenzie, TNThe Carroll County Habitat for Humanity Gala is Thursday, October 18 at the Carroll County Civic Center. Hors d’oeuvre will be served at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Kellye Cash, Miss America 1987. It will be an elegant evening of delicious food, great entertainment and an exciting auction for a great cause. Individual tickets are $50; a table sponsorship (eight tickets) is $400; event sponsorship is $600 (two tickets and recognition during gala). Area merchants and individuals can donate items for the auction. Each of the contributions is tax-deductible. Financial contributions enable Habitat homeowners to learn the responsibilities and skills necessary for home ownership and gives them a safe, decent, affordable place to live as well as a sense of pride and accomplishment.
