McKENZIE (July 31) — Members of the Carroll County Humane Society hosted a party Tuesday to celebrate the organization’s 19th birthday.
Held at the McKenzie Farmers Market, the event featured cake, punch, music and photography sessions with pets.
Photos were provided by Amy Bourne Photography, and cupcakes were made by Ginger Baby Cakery.
The duo 2nd Tr1 performed music, and Myra Carlock made the punch.
Dr. Sarah Kidd made pup pops (frozen dog treats), and Karli, Kortnee, Kynadie and Kassidy Brown also made homemade dog treats.
McKenzie City Florist & More made beautiful fresh flower wreaths and leis for the dogs to wear in the photos.
About 35 attended; all proceeds went to support CCHS.
The event was sponsored by McKenzie City Florist, Ginger Baby Cakery, Amy Bourne Photography, and 2nd Tr1.
