Computer Classes Begin in November
The Library is hosting a series of computer classes for beginner computer users starting  November 10. This will be a six- course series consisting of topics related to internet searching, using office productivity software, privacy and security, social media, multi-media, and library resources. Each class is two hours long with plenty of time for questions and individualized help. Each class is 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will be held on the following dates: November 10, November 17, December 1, December 8, December 15, and January 5. Anyone is welcome to come; however, we would like for those who are interested to pre-register by calling the Library so that we may ensure we have enough computers available for everyone.
Winter Craft Workshops Sign-Ups
The Library is hosting a series of Winter Craft Workshops in November and December. Rachel Henderson will be directing these workshops to encourage creativity in people of all ages. There is a limit to how many can register for each workshop so pre-registration is required and a registration fee of $25 to cover the cost of materials will be needed at the time of registration. The workshops will be held as follows: November 29 and December 6 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for children ages 5-7; this craft workshop will involve making an ornament and a snowman decoration, November 27 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for children ages 8 – 12; this craft workshop will involve making decorative yarn snowballs and a snowman decoration; and December 4 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for ages 13 – adult; this workshop will involve making decorative yarn snowballs and an additional painted decoration. To register for any of these workshops come by the Library’s front desk on High Street in Huntingdon.
