Theft — A Westport man was arrested for allegedly stealing many items from a family member.
Christopher Josiah Eskew, 20, of 7448 Westport Road was charged with theft over $1,000. According to the report by Deputy Cody Walker, the Sheriff’s Department received a call on March 18, and the caller stated that Eskew had stolen some tools from his father’s shop.

Eskew was found to be in possession of a receipt from a pawn shop in Camden showing that he had pawned an air ratchet, assorted five-piece air tools, and a fuel tester at that business.
When questioned, Eskew told the officers that he did not steal the tools and said that they were given to him by his father.
Written statements were provided by some of the family members regarding the alleged theft.
