October 16, 2018 - •A pair of men received multiple charges on October 7 in McKenzie.
According to a report given by Deputy Ethan Parham, he received a call from McKenzie Police Department who
advising they had a female subject at the department that had been physically assaulted. The victim had visible signs
of abuse and pictures were taken. Deputies responded to the address where the incident occurred and made contact
with the accused subject. Christopher Shawn Easley of 358 Park Street in McKenzie was placed under arrest. After a
firearm was found at the residence, Christopher Easley was charged with aggravated and domestic assault, along
with unlawful carrying or possession of a weapon. During Easely’s arrest, another subject, Tavien Kavon Holland of
289 Highway 431 in Martin, ran from the house and fled from law enforcement on foot. Holland later returned to that
same residence and was arrested for vandalism and resisting.
