Meth Lab Found

*A Hollow Rock man was arrested December 4 when U.S. marshals found a meth lab on his property.

According to the report, U.S. Marshals went to the residence of Charles Brent Jackson at 155 Batey Lane to serve a warrant for the arrest of James Carroll. While searching for Carroll, marshals found a Ruger 270 rifle with the serial numbers filed off. While searching the property, marshals found a shake-and-bake meth lab in a field near the residence. The Tennessee Meth and Pharmaceutical Task Force were called in to clean up the meth lab.

Wheels Stolen

*The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the recent theft of wheels from a vehicle on Terry Road.

According to the report, Manda Martin of 3040 Terry Road told deputies on December 7 that someone took the wheels, including all four rims and tires, off of her 1999 Ford Expedition, which was parked in her front yard. Martin said the vehicle has been sitting in her yard for five years. The stolen items were valued at $500.
