Big changes are coming to the 2019 Carroll County Chamber Business Expo. The Expo is Thursday, April 11, 2019, at the Carroll County Civic Center, and the hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“All the changes being made are to provide our vendors with a better opportunity to communicate with the people attending the Expo,” said Brad Hurley, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce president. “We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to network with local business people and community member.”
Other changes include a more open concept, booths will not be enclosed with drapes, as in the past. Visitors will no longer be asked to get each vendor to sign a form; instead, each attendee will register when entering the Expo. Entertainment groups will not perform; a speaker will address the group at 1:30.
“We are elated to have Katie Gambill, of Clarksville, as our motivational speaker of the 2019 Expo,” said Jenny Mims, member of the Expo Task Force. “Katie is an outstanding speaker, and I know her message will be inspiring.”

Katie Gambill is the president and general manager of 5-Star Radio. She manages eight radio stations and an online hyper-local news site called Clarksvillenow.com.
