County Budget Committee Meets Friday

The Carroll County Budget Committee meets Friday, May 10 in the conference room at the Carroll County Office Complex with the following offices at the designated times for the purpose of reviewing the 2019/2020 Fiscal Year budget requests:
8:30 a.m. Trustee, 8:40 a.m. Office on Aging, 8:50 a.m. Register of Deeds, 9 a.m. Property Assessor, 9:10 a.m. County Clerk, 9:20 a.m. Solid Waste, 9:30 a.m. Election Commission, 9:40 a.m. Clerk & Master, 9:50 a.m. Library, 10 a.m. Health Department, 10:10 a.m. Ag Extension, 10:20 a.m. Circuit Clerk, 10:30 a.m. break, 10:45 a.m. Highway Department, 11 a.m. Emergency Management/Rural Fire Dept., 11:15 a.m. Sheriff’s Department, 11:30 a.m. Carroll Academy/Juvenile, 11:40 a.m. County Schools/Transportation, 11:50 a.m. Miscellaneous Departments

The Budget Committee asks county officials show no increase in budget line items for the 2019/2020 Fiscal Year.
The Budget Committee is recommending all full-time employees receive a two percent raise and part-time employees whose pay currently falls below $12 an hour be set at $12 an hour.
Please have your completed budget forms back to the Carroll County Mayor’s office by May 3, 2019.
