Funeral services for Darrell D. Taylor are Monday, June 26, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 25, at 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m. until service time. Following the service, Mr. Taylor's remains will be cremated.
Mr. Taylor, 57 years old, died Thursday, June 22, 2023, on the job in Big Cliff, Kentucky. He was a truck driver at Dale Nelson’s Recycling McKenzie. He was born in Union City on March 24, 1967, to Kenneth Taylor and Joan Hopper Mebane.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene Watson Taylor of Bradford, his parents, Joan (Glynn) Mebane of Henry, Kenneth (Loretta Ann) Taylor of Dresden, three daughters, Kayla ( Will) Little of McKenzie, Lisa Warren and Hope Mathis, both of Bradford, two sons, Justin (Elisha) Taylor of Benton, Kentucky and Robert Mathis of Bradford, a sister, Kaci (Scott) Bond of Chapel Hill, a brother, Michael Taylor of Paris, seven grandchildren, Sophie Taylor, Taylor Little, Jude Taylor, Scarlett O’Hara, Lucas Mathis, Wylie Little and Lilly Taylor.
