DONALD RAY WHITE

1943 - 2022

GEORGIA - Mr. Donald Ray White, 79, of Hiram, Georgia formerly of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Monday, November 14, 2022 at Manor Lake Assisted Living in Georgia. 

Funeral services were Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Alex Hilliard and Bro. Mike Wheeler officiating.  Interment was in Palmer Shelter Cemetery.

Mr. White was born October 18, 1943 in Huntingdon, Tennessee, to the late John Herman and Nora Neveda (Wooters) White.  Donald grew up on a farm in Carroll County, Tennessee and graduated from Huntingdon High School.  After high school he moved to Nashville and worked at H. G. Hill Grocery Store.  He then enlisted in the United States Air Force and served 20 years and retired in 1984. 

Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Darin White, a brother, Earl White, a sister, Mildred Joyce.

He is survived by one sister, Geraldine White Wheeler (Joseph) of Dallas, Georgia, one brother, Carl H. White (Betty) of Huntingdon, an aunt, Sue White of Huntingdon, and his special friend, Delano Miller.
