Economically Distressed Counties Decline, Carroll Remains At Risk

NASHVILLE (June 27) — Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee announced the number of economically distressed counties in the state has reduced to eight, the fewest in Tennessee’s history. While this is a significant milestone in the Lee administration’s mission to accelerate the transformation of rural Tennessee, it is still important to take a look the 27 at risk counties in the state — including Carroll County.
