Evelyn Karnes

Mrs. Evelyn Karnes, 87 of Leach, Tennessee, died Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services were Saturday, November 11, 2023  in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Sellers officiating.  Interment was in Twin Oaks Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Karnes was born August 15, 1936 in Cedar Grove, Tennessee, to the late Issah Thomas and Ruby (Sellers) Robinson.  She was a homemaker and a member of Twin Oaks Church of Christ.  Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, of 46 years, Richard H. Karnes, two brothers, Elbert Robinson and Elmer Ray Robinson.

She is survived by two daughters, Ann Karnes of Leach, Vickie Eskew of Bruceton, two sons, Richard Glenn Karnes of Henderson, Jeffrey Dale Karnes of McKenzie.  She also leaves five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
