MANSFIELD   - Gary Lynn Beecham, 65, of Mansfield, Tenn., died Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.  

He owned and operated Beecham’s Auction Service in Henry, Tenn.  Gary enjoyed cattle farming, being an auctioneer, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  He was Baptist by belief.

Gary was born February 7, 1958, in Paris, Tenn., to Gary Sherman Beecham, who survives, of Henry, Tenn., and the late Norma Christine Morris Beecham.

He was married December 28, 1975, to his school sweetheart since the eighth grade, Liessa Johnson Beecham, who survives, of Mansfield.

Along with his wife and father, he is also survived one son, Jason (Alisha) Beecham of Mansfield; one brother, Timmy (Leigh Anne) Beecham of Henry; six grandchildren, Katie Beecham (Edward Kiner), Conner Beecham, Zeb Beecham, Ava Beecham, Jodi Beecham, and Shelby Beecham; and two great-grandchildren, Mason Allen and Clara Allen.

In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by one son, Gary Charles “Chuck” Beecham; and one sister, Diane Alexander.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation is Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 4 - 7 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continues Friday, July 7, 2023, 3 - 4 p.m.  A graveside service is Friday, July 7, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at the Beecham Family Farm in Mansfield, Tenn., with Don Williams officiating.

Steve Presson, Barney Valentine, Max Middleton, Chris Alexander, Conner Beecham, and Edward Kiner will serve as pallbearers.  Named as an honorary pallbearer is Zeb Beecham.

Burial will follow the graveside service in the Beecham Family Farm.
