Mr. George David Aylor, 71, of McLemoresville, Tennessee died peacefully Monday, September 4, 2023 at his home, surrounded by loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to McLemoresville Cemetery, P. O. Box 44, McLemoresville, TN 38235.

Funeral services are Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11  a.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in McLemoresville Cemetery.

Pallbearers who will serve are Mike Conley, Steve Bomar, Don Reed, Joe Ray Watkins, Terry Carroll, and Ryan Dickson.  Honorary pallbearers were David Newbill, Durante Pryor, Buddy Moore, and D. L. Johnson.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday, 5 to 8  p.m. and on Friday, 9 a.m. until time of service.

Mr. Aylor was born July 28, 1952 in Milan, Tennessee to the late David H.B. and Betty (Jones) Aylor.  He worked at Norandal as a technician and worked as an engineer for the L&N/CSX Railroad.  He was known for his passion of old cars, especially Chevelles. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Sallye (O’Neil) Aylor.

He is survived by one son, Greg Aylor of McLemoresville, two sisters, Anita West (Danny) and Kathy Scoggins, both of Mississippi and a special friend, Donna Marshall of Trezevant and other family. Chase Funeral Home, Huntingdon.
