Mc Kenzie, TNWESTPORT — Mr. George Melvin Parrish, 72, of Westport died Monday, July 8, 2019 at his home.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
Mr. Parrish was born June 9, 1947 in Plant City, Florida, to the late George Grady Parrish and Doris Lorraine (Goff) Parrish. He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Christopher Bennett, one brother, William Grady Parrish, and one sister, Jimmie Lou Freeman.
He was survived by four daughters, Melanie King (Joe Worley) of Ranger, Georgia, Connie Pendergrass (Scott) of Calhoun, Georgia, Stacie Musella (Rick) of Zephyrhills, Florida, Amber Parrish (Charles Ramey) of Nevada, Missouri, two sisters, Barbara Allen of Huntingdon, Sandi Griffin of Gainesville, Georgia and one brother, David Parrish of Lakeland, Florida. He also leaves nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Chase Funeral Home had charge of services.
