Henry County Medical Center Hosts McKenzie Health Fair

Posted

McKENZIE (March 8) — Henry County Medical Center hosted a health fair Friday at McKenzie City Hall.
According to Lori Stambaugh, RN, HCMC Community Educator, the event was intended to inform McKenzie residents of the services available at the Paris medical campus, especially given the recent loss of McKenzie Regional Hospital.
A variety of free screenings were offered, including osteoperosis, body mass index, cholesterol with full lipid panel, blood sugar and blood pressure.

There were also pharmacists on hand to answer questions about medications. Tennessee Donor Services provided information on the importance of organ donation and how to become a donor.
There was information available about HCMC’s physician practices, and there were giveaways of promotional items and snacks.
