Henry Man Dies in Tractor Accident

HENRY, Tenn. (May 23) — A Henry man was killed when he was pinned under a tractor at his home Thursday afternoon.
Gary Amburgey, age 69 of 2065 Radnor Lake Road, was pronounced dead at the scene by Henry County Medical Examiner    Matthew McClure.

Henry County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the residence around 2 p.m. on a report of a man pinned under a tractor. According to his report, Deputy Phillip Barton found an old Ford tractor upside down with the steering wheel pinning the victim to the ground. He said the tractor was in the back yard of the residence.
Witnesses had unsuccessfully tried to move the tractor off of the victim.
Ridgeway Funeral Home had charge of services.
