Mc Kenzie, TNBRUCETON - Mr. James Hershel Riggs, 76, of Bruceton, Tennessee, died Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at his home, with his daughter by his side.
Memorial services were Saturday, September 9, 2023.
Mr. Riggs was born May 18, 1947 in Camden, Tennessee, to the late Early Riggs and Nancy Grooms. He was a maintenance supervisor at UTI New Johnsonville. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, James Hershel Riggs, Jr., two sisters, Sherry Tanaka, Helen Riggs, three brothers, Billy Riggs, Marty Grooms, and Richard Grooms.
He is survived by one daughter, Jolena Burke (Tommy) of Bruceton, one sister, Mary Mitchell (Donald) of Huntingdon, three brothers, David Riggs (Nancy) of Bruceton, Robert Riggs (Kim), and Stanley Riggs (Cyndi) of McKenzie. He also leaves one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
