Shoplifting — A Huntingdon man was arrested after allegedly shoplifting at a local store.
On December 8, 2018 officers were dispatched to Walmart in Huntingdon in reference to a shoplifting incident. Upon arrival, Patrolman Shelton Moon spoke with the defendant, Joshua Johnson, 28, of Huntingdon, and Walmart security. After each explained the incident, Johnson was arrested and transported to jail for stealing a phone case from Walmart. He was charged with theft under $1000.

Theft — A Humboldt woman was arrested after allegedly switching price tags on items at Walmart.
On December 12, 2018, Patrolman Shelton Moon was dispatched to Walmart around 11:50 a.m. in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arriving at the scene, Patrolman Shelton spoke with the defendant, Amanda Smears, 34, of Humboldt, as well as Walmart security. Smears was cited into court and transported to jail for switching price tag stickers between several items in the store to purchase. He was charged with theft under $1000.
Theft and Driving on Revoked — A Huntingdon woman was arrested after shoplifting at Walmart and then driving without a license.  On November 14, 2018, Patrolman Shelton Moon received a call in reference to a shoplifting incident occurring at Walmart in Huntingdon. While headed to the scene, dispatch advised Patrolman Moon that the shoplifter had left the store and was driving a red Ford truck headed eastbound on West Main Street toward to court square. Patrolman Moon pulled the driver, Sandra Lott, 51, of Huntingdon, over after turning onto Lexington Street. After dispatch ran her license, information was reported that Lott’s driver’s license had been revoked for DUI. Sandra Lott was placed under arrest for theft under $1000, as well as driving on a revoked license, third offense.
