McKenzie, Tennessee - Memorial services for Jerry Byron Perry, 75, are Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Charles McCasey officiating.  Cremation has been chosen. 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 16, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  

Mr. Perry, the former and retired Manager of Pockets Convenience Store in McKenzie, died Thursday, September 13, 2018 at his residence.  

He was born on January 7, 1943 in Gleason, Tennessee to Butler and Christine Heath Perry. He was a member of Community Grove Methodist Church, was a 32nd degree Mason and was in the Scottish Rite.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years Sharon Manley Perry of McKenzie, his daughter Sherry (Steve) Bowden of McKenzie, two sons Kenny (Kim) Perry of Hopkinsville, KY, David Perry (Billie Jean Wood) of McKenzie, a brother Jan (Ilah) Perry of McKenzie, five grandchildren: Brandon Bowden, Austin Perry, Tracy Perry, Olivia Bowden and Alexis Perry, and one great grandchild Miles Bowden.                                                                                                                                                                               Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  For more information please call (731) 352-4848 or visit www.brummittmckenziefuneralhome.com.
