Lady Tigers Edge Lady War Eagles, 2-1

ATWOOD (April 25) — The West Carroll Lady War Eagles hosted the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Lady Tigers Thursday for a District 11A high school softball contest. A pitching duel kept the game scoreless until the sixth inning, when Central pushed across a pair of runs in the top half and West Carroll answered with a lone run in the home half for a 2-1 Lady Tiger win.
Lady Tiger Aaliyah Davis was 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Nevaeh Davis and Brylee Williams were each 1-for-3 with a run scored. Madison Johnson was 1-for-3 with a stolen base. Olivia Frazee and Kelsey Forrest were each 1-for-3.

Lady War Eagle Macey Cunningham was 3-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base. Kayce Stafford was 1-for-3 with an RBI. Tatym Keymon was 1-for-3 with a stolen base. Sadie Martin and Ashton Worrell were each 1-for-4.
Aaliyah Davis earned the complete-game win for Central, allowing one earned run on seven hits while striking out three and walking none.
Shelby Browning took the complete-game loss for West Carroll, allowing two unearned runs on six hits while striking out ten and walking none.
