Lady War Eagles Eliminate Lady Tigers

ATWOOD (May 6) — The West Carroll Lady War Eagles defeated the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Lady Tigers 10-0 Monday in a District 11A Softball Tournament elimination game.
With the win, the Lady War Eagles earned a Tuesday rematch with McKenzie and a chance to advance to the title game against Huntingdon. With the loss, Central’s season came to an end.
West Carroll ended the game early with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first, two more in the third, five in the fifth and one in the sixth.

Lady War Eagle Shelby Browning was 2-for-3 with two doubles, a walk and an RBI. Tatym Keymon was 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, two RBIs, two run scored and a stolen base. Sadie Martin was 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. Zoey Cook was 2-for-3 with a run scored. Macey Cunningham was 1-for-4 with a double. Kayce Stafford was 1-for-4 with a run scored. Alyssa Butler was 0-for-2 with two walks and three runs scored. Alexis Houston was 0-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored.
Lady Tiger Nevaeh Davis was 1-for-3 with a double and a stolen base. Aaliyah Davis was 1-for-2 with a walk. Kelsey Forrest was 1-for-2 with a stolen base. Haley Lewis was 0-for-1 with two walks.
Shelby Browning earned the complete-game shutout for West Carroll, allowing two hits while striking out 12 and walking three in six innings.
Aaliyah Davis took the loss for Central, allowing seven unearned runs on four hits while striking out four and walking two in four and a third innings. Kaitlin Moudy threw an inning of relief, allowing three earned runs on five hits while striking out one and walking three.
