Lady Wildcats Beat Brescia in Chamber Classic

MCKENZIE, Tenn. – After an impressive 30-point win over Hiwassee Friday in the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Classic the Bethel Lady Wildcats moved to 2-0 on the year with a 79-60 win over Brescia Saturday afternoon in Crisp Arena.

Bethel led 25-9 at the end of the first quarter and 45-32 at the half.

The Lady Wildcats shot 40 percent from the floor hitting 30-of- 74 attempts. They hit seven three point attempts and were 12-of-16 from the foul line. Bethel had command of the glass out rebounding the visitors from Owensboro 48-34.

Myah Taylor led Bethel in scoring for the second night in a row pumping in a game high 19 points. Morgan Martin followed with 14 points and five assists. Danielle Conley was solid with 10 points.   Freshman Jayden Green contributed with five assists and newcomer Tyasia Willis led Bethel on the boards with 10 rebounds.

Hallie Fisher and Hailey Kendall led Brescia with 13 points each.
